ULU BENDUL RECREATION PARK


  • The Ulu Bendul Recreational Park located some 16km from Seremban on the Kuala Pilah Sri Menanti route, at the foot of Bukit Angsi provides a welcome respite to the weary traveler.

  • The park is one of the six recreational parks in Negeri Sembilan developed for ecotourism purposes.




  • The refreshing and cool water from the stream that meanders through the park offers a fun place for visitors bent on having a dip. For the more adventurous, they can go jungle-trekking. To savor the best out of this park, visitors may prefer to stay at the specially designated camping grounds or rent one of the chalets in the park.




TANJUNG TUAN LIGHTHOUSE


  • The light house was built by the British in the 18th century on the highest point of the cape. The site of the light house is said to be the same site where an old light house was built by the Portuguese during their occupation of Melaka in the 16th century which was later destroyed in a war.

  • It is the oldest lighthouse in the country and is still in use today. 

  • There are 66 flight of steps leading to the light house. To reach the peak of the light house, one has to climb 72 flight of steps. The light house is controlled by the Shahbandar of Melaka as Tanjung Tuan is a territory of Melaka even though it is located in Port Dickson

  • From this vantage point, one can see the town of Port Dickson and the outline of Indonesia's Sumatra across the Straits of Melaka. 


STATE MOSQUE


  • The State Mosque is adorned with nine pillars which symbolize the nine districts.

  •  The pillar jut out at all corners of the building and on top of each pillar is a crescent and a star to represent 'enlightenment' for the muslim.

  •  Poised from the inside, the calmness of the mind seems to seep through the scenic view of the Seremban lake.


SEREMBAN LAKE GARDENS






  • A garden with impressive contours and landscape which make it good for strolls and jogs by morning and evening. For those who have relaxation in mind, it also almost shady all day long at the park with the various kinds of big trees in the surroundings.

  •  There are also ample concrete benches overlooking the lake where visitors can sit back and enjoy the evening breeze. Nearby, there are food stalls under canopies to satisfy one's appetite.
